The Venue
Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai, a Tuscan-inspired estate of castle turrets, vineyards and mountain air, sits at the edge of Khao Yai National Park about three hours northeast of Bangkok. Our celebration unfolds outdoors beneath the open sky — a Thai water-blessing and vows at sundown, followed by a long-table dinner under the stars.

Travel Logistics
To help families coordinate their stays in Khao Yai, we have compiled key arrival guides and hotel arrangements.
Arrival Flight
Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) are the main international gateways. From either, Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai is roughly a 2.5–3 hour drive northeast via Pak Chong. A private car transfer or hire car is the easiest way up — the resort can help arrange transfers on request.
Hotel Booking
A preferential wedding rate has been arranged at the Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai (the venue itself) — kindly mention the "Gubgib-Jason Wedding" when you book. As the whole celebration is on-site, we warmly encourage everyone to stay at the resort so no one has to travel after the evening.
Getting to the Location
On the wedding day itself, we’ll arrange complimentary group transport from Bangkok up to Khao Yai, so you can settle in and enjoy the scenic drive rather than organise your own car. If you’d like a seat, simply note it in your RSVP and we’ll save one for you.
City & Venue Guidance
Khao Yai in January is the loveliest season — cool, dry and breezy, with daytime highs around 28–30°C (82–86°F) falling to a crisp 15–18°C (59–64°F) after dark. Our ceremony and dinner are held outdoors, so dress elegantly but bring a little warmth — a jacket or wrap for after sunset, and shoes that are happy on grass. The resort sits at the edge of Khao Yai National Park, surrounded by vineyards and mountain air; everything happens on the grounds, so we'd suggest staying on property for the night.
The Registry
"Your presence is our present."
Sharing the day with the people we love is gift enough.
If you'd still like to honour the occasion, we'd be touched by a gift toward our new life together. Look for the gift & wishing table near the reception entrance, or pass it to any of our wedding party on the night.
Joining us from overseas? A note or a kind word in our guestbook means just as much.
